Nicolai Wadstrom

CEO & Founder

Nicolai Wadstrom is a serial entrepreneur. He started his first company in 1995, and have been starting and running a number of companies since then, ranging from enterprise software, computer games, internet, media and professional services. His focus is on technology related business and Telecom, Internet, Media and Entertainment (TIME) sector in particular. He has experience from startup companies and technology and consulting for some of the major brands.

Lars Hagelin

Entrepreneur in residence

Lars brings over 15 years of experience as entrepreneur, consultant and business angel in the internet, media and interactive gaming industries.

Some of Lars past startup projects include:

• Several niche media projects/ventures in the mid 90s of which one was acquired by Danish media group Aller.
• Co-founder of Swedish game developer Starbreeze and served as the CEO for the first two years - including taking the company public.
• Chairman and the sole seed investor in Affiliator, which was sold after just six months of operation.  

LH is fluent in English and Swedish and has a descent knowledge of German, French and Spanish. Lars holds a MBA from Uppsala University.

Steve Palladino

Entrepreneur in residence

Steve Palladino has over 25 years of leadership experience in sales, executive management, and international business development. In these capacities, he has exceeded goals in revenue growth, people development and customer satisfaction. He brings a unique perspective to client engagements because of his diverse company experience ranging from seed stage startups to large teams in global 500 corporations.

He has been involved in all aspects of growing technology-based businesses and has held senior management roles with Motorola, IBM, Epiphany, Cap Gemini, CBS, and others, as well as several venture-backed start-up organizations.

Steve's engagements derive from a career that required him to do business across three continents helping technology-based business achieve and grow revenue. Demonstrated track record of transforming company performance in areas of market expansion, sales and channel management.

Anna Wilkens

Communication Officer

Professional Communication Officer with 10 years experience in communication, manages the BootstrapLabs internal and external communication, and help's our companies be more effective and targeted in their communication strategies and implementation.

Erik Starck

Business Bootstrapper

"Born in 1976, Erik Starck started his first company in 1998 (acquired in 2000 by a publically noted company) and has been working with the web, mobile and various startups since then. He has been a java architect for a content management company, a technical project leader for a mobile portal, a strategist for java in mobile phones, a CEO of a startup and a community manager amongst other things. His current focus is on mobile, social media and startups. He has a Masters-degree in software engineering from BTH in Sweden. Erik has been blogging since 2000."

Erik Andersson

Business Bootstrapper

Erik has an academic background from Industrial Engineering and Management, with a minor in Applied Mathematics, from Chalmers University of Technology and from Business Administration from University of Gothenburg. He is currently studying his last year to a M.Sc. in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship. His professional experiences ranges from Production Engineering to Project Management and Business Development. Erik’s background vouches for a thorough understanding of the interplay within technology, business and management. His specialties include business development, value creation in the knowledge economy, intellectual property strategies, idea & feasibility studies, and techno-economic analysis.
