Isura is the Co-founder and CTO of Rabot Inc., a technology company dedicated to building the world’s best platform for warehouse operational intelligence to augment workforces in high speed and high volume environments. Isura has experienced entrepreneur in high volume automation deployments, visual analytics using deep nets and point clouds, force control, dynamic high degree of freedom mechanism control, and human-robot interaction.
Prior to starting Rabot, Isura was a Systems Design Engineer at Apple. Earlier in his career, Isura participated in many Robotics competitions including the DARPA Robotics Challenge (2013), Amazon Picking Challenge (2015), 1st and 2nd in IEEE Robotics Challenges.
