Jacob Malmborg

Jacob Malmborg is the co-founder, CEO and product architect of CHARM Solutions which strives to help small businesses prosper globally. CHARM’s SaaS AI platform speeds up the underwriting process and provides proactive risk/opportunity monitoring for US and EU lenders. The CHARM platform and its SMBScore also offers actionable insights for SMBs matchmaking them with lenders based on a “FICO-like score for SMBs” which CHARM has created.

Jacob has deep mathematical, product and entrepreneurial experience in business credit across multiple markets, financing products and customer segments with over 15 years of professional experience as founder of a direct business lender in Sweden operating for over 9 years, and credit programmer in banking (SEB), and management consultant (Kearney).

Jacob has significant international business experience having worked across the EU, in the US, and Asia specifically Singapore, HK and China. Jacob holds a master of Science in Applied mathematics, specialized in financial mathematics/statistical modeling from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) with a semester at National University of Singapore. He did additional business administration studies at Stockholm University and Stanford University (the SIGM program with the MBA faculty).
