Joyce Li

Joyce Li, CFA, is CEO of Averanda Partners, where she advises business leaders at the intersection of AI, finance, and governance. Joyce has two decades of investment executive experience managing multi-billion dollar investment strategies and co-founded an AI startup in wealth management. An experienced board director, Joyce serves on the advisory board of OpenBB and Minewell, and previously served as President on the CFA Society San Francisco board and a few other nonprofit boards. 

Recognized as “Top AI Voice” on LinkedIn, Joyce co-authored the Athena Alliance AI Governance Playbook and created the AI Simplified for Leaders newsletter. Joyce holds an MBA from Wharton, where she earned the distinction of Palmer Scholar, and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
