Mr. Mark Beall is the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center’s (JAIC) Chief of Strategic Engagement and Policy. In this role, he leads JAIC’s technical policy, strategy and communications, international and interagency affairs, and industry and academic outreach. Prior to this, Mr. Beall served in a number of regional and functional roles in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy focusing on the Middle East and South Asia, homeland defense, security cooperation, and counterterrorism. Mr. Beall is also the founder of the Burke-Paine Society, a 501(c) educational non-profit focused on civics and cross- partisan dialogue.
