According to a new report by the House of Lords select committee on AI, the UK is already in an exceptionally strong position. “Britain contains leading AI companies, a dynamic academic research culture, a vigorous start-up ecosystem and a constellation of legal, ethical, financial and linguistic strengths located in proximity to each other,” the committee concludes.
